They act as a Jack or Jill of all trades and may not be the highest performing boot, but will get you from point A to B with non-nonsense performance and efficiency. They can be utilized for both on-track or off trail skiing at the cross-country centers, but can also be used in backcountry to explore deeper and further than the confines of a resort. An upper Velcro strap sinches down tight and keeps everything together, also providing additional support and control. A rigid NNBC sole provides additional support, leverage and power to your entire skiing package interface, and also gives you solid grip on uneven surfaces when walking or hiking.
Regardless of your pursuit, you now have one pair of boots that can allow you to experience so many different forms of skiing. From the cross-country center, to the backcountry, to meadow skipping, low angle logging roads, and even a casual jaunt at the local playground or park, the Rossignol BC X-5 Cross Country Ski Boots will deliver for you in spades. 1380 Grams at 43 size.
