BC X-5 Cross Country Ski Boots. The Rossignol BC X-5 Cross Country Ski Boots are Rossignol's "SUV" of backcountry touring boots.
They act as a Jack or Jill of all trades and may not be the highest performing boot, but will get you from point A to B with non-nonsense performance and efficiency. They can be utilized for both on-track or off trail skiing at the cross-country centers, but can also be used in backcountry to explore deeper and further than the confines of a resort. Tipping the scales at 1380 grams, it's a lightweight boot that can tackle nearly any task.
With a combination of Thinsulate, PolarTech and a Thermo-Adjustable Lining, it's both warm and comfortable. An external lace up lining is easy to use and adjust, and provides snug support for great lateral control and proper boot, binding and ski synergy. An upper Velcro strap sinches down tight and keeps everything together, also providing additional support and control. A rigid NNBC sole provides additional support, leverage and power to your entire skiing package interface, and also gives you solid grip on uneven surfaces when walking or hiking.Regardless of your pursuit, you now have one pair of boots that can allow you to experience so many different forms of skiing. From the cross-country center, to the backcountry, to meadow skipping, low angle logging roads, and even a casual jaunt at the local playground or park, the Rossignol BC X-5 Cross Country Ski Boots will deliver for you in spades. 1380 Grams at 43 size.

Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL). The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg.
A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm. Please include the "mm" unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size.
